Workman's Compensation

Injury on Duty / COID Claims

There can be a lot of confusion as to what to do with a Workman’s Compensation and Injury on Duty claim, both for the employer and injured employee.

Our practice can assist if you or one of your employees sustains a neuro-musculo-skeletal injury at your work premises within your official working hours.  There is no cost to the employee nor the employer.  This is taken care of by our practice when we claim directly from the Workman’s Compensation Fund.

You do not need a referral to see a Chiropractor for treatment of the injury as we are first-line heath care practitioners recognised by The Fund.

Once the necessary reports and referral paperwork is completed by the employer, the employee need only bring their ID and First Report with them for their initial consultation.

We will perform a thorough assessment of the injury and prescribe an appropriate treatment plan going forward.
